The email below went to our Extension Associate Directors, but I thought it should be shared with all Extension Faculty. It discusses the new deadlines for submitting grants, and I want to emphasize that this is for real – not a recommendation or a set of target dates. The deadlines will be enforced.



Please share this with other staff who may be involved in the grant proposal process.



I want to ensure that no one can say they were unaware of any changes- please help me in making sure everyone is aware.

As today is the first day of the new Late Proposal Policy for ALVSCE, we would like to reach out to remind you of the information and training materials available for this new policy.



Please find attached a presentation providing an overview of the policy and detailing the process for late proposal approvals, and detailed FAQs. NEW PROPOSAL DEADLINE POLICY: Effective August 19, 2024, all proposals must meet the proposal deadline stages to be submitted.  Approved exception forms will be required for any missed due date.
