FYI…..This is in reference to the Cooperative Extension section of the UA reopening planning committee effort. This is the one on which Dr. Jeremy Elliott-Engel has been serving as the CES representative and he has been working with the CES Transition Working Group. They have done a good job on this and we can work to further define and manage this process within the CES across all elements of this organization.

Jeff

Dear Deans / Campus Leaders,

I hope that your teams have made significant progress on their operating plans (for non-research activities) and that you are now able to begin your reviews to ensure that there is a high level of alignment between the plans for each of your departments or teams. A Campus Re-Entry Planning Workshop on Friday, 5 June, brought together faculty, staff and students from across campus to review and exercise the draft of the Directions and Guidance for Return to the University Workplace<https://arizona.box.com/s/hr5iybinajpz8tp4osnzv3du2rbe5mst> as well as the Test, Trace and Treat Team draft operating plans<https://arizona.box.com/s/eeq306v0tgxb0xyhi7k00dgcc98qk836> and the Implementation Planning Team draft guidelines<https://arizona.box.com/s/t4uprpohmdh8l3t4qhee2p7xrovzrfg9>. In addition, the U Arizona Colleges and Department - Reopening Committee Chairs provided a list of questions that will also help to finalize the drafts. Insights gleaned from the workshop and the list of questions are being incorporated into the plans. Although still in draft form, these plans can provide important guidance as you and your teams develop your operating plans.

Starting this week, the Implementation Plans (by activity type) will be reviewed, expeditiously, by Dr. Richard Carmona and the Incident Command System (ICS) team and submitted to President Robbins for final approval.

>> In order to give you sufficient time to review the college / unit plans against the campus-wide plans, I am writing to adjust the due date to 18 June (from 12 June). Once approved at your level, the plans should be submitted for review through this website for SVP approval: https://provost.arizona.edu/content/re-entry-plan-submission.

Please communicate this adjusted timeline out to your leads!

With thanks, Liesl
