This outreach is for Recent Graduates as part of the Pathways Recent Graduates program. This position is also being outreached separately to government employees.

This is a great opportunity to work in North Texas in the US Forest Service as a Rangeland Management Specialist. The Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands Ranger District is within an hour drive of Dallas/Fort Worth with many opportunities to enjoy Texas music, Texas BBQ, and big city lights. Our office is in Decatur; about an hour northwest of Fort Worth.

This is a great position to learn and grow as a professional in rangeland management. Our district is an exciting place to work; we are on the leading edge of applying science and technology in public land management.

Eligibility:

*         Recent graduates who have completed, within the previous two years, a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution.

*         Veterans unable to apply within two years of receiving their degree, due to military service obligation, have as much as six years after degree completion to apply.
