Dear Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce that registration<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/southwest-vegetation-management-association-eighteenth-annual-meeting-please-be-sure-to-read-tickets-18369678202> is now open for this year's Southwest Vegetation Management Association's Annual Meeting. The draft meeting agenda is attached for your reference. Please visit the SWVMA website<http://www.swvma.org/> for additional information and details about the upcoming meeting - including the meeting agenda/schedule, and lodging information. (All information should be posted shortly.) This year's annual field trip will be hosted by Fort Huachuca and will be limited to the first 28 registrants.

For membership review prior to the annual meeting, I have attached suggested Bylaw changes to enable SWVMA to begin offering project and research grants. Please take a moment to read through this material; it will be put to vote during the meeting.

Lastly, SWVMA is offering a registration scholarship opportunity this year. Information related to the scholarship is provided below (scroll down). Please note that early registration ends on October 14th; after this date, registration prices will go up. Don't wait!

SWVMA Annual Meeting Scholarship Available
Applications due: Friday, October 2nd.

Southwest Vegetation Management Association (SWVMA) is announcing FREE REGISTRATION to the annual meeting for up to five people, in exchange for three hours of volunteer work/each during the conference. Volunteer work may consist of booth set-up assistance, registration check-in assistance, cleanup, etc. The scholarship competition is open to all and will cover meeting registration costs only; all travel, lodging and per diem costs associated with attendance at the SWVMA Annual Meeting will be the responsibility of the recipient.
