        Tom Orum and Nancy Ferguson

                will present

        "An annual saguaro census - 74 years and counting"

A long-term study originally begun in 1942, and continued by Stan Alcorn from 1955 until Tom and Nancy took over the project in 1979, is conducted during several weeks each winter within a square mile section of Saguaro National Park's cactus forest.

Thursday, 12 noon, Herbarium (Herring Hall), and as always, please feel free to bring your lunch!
