[Srm] Last Tierra Seca Meeting

Hello all,

What an exciting time of the year! Seniors are graduating in less than
three weeks, finals are upon us, and our very favorite summer event, the
SRM summer meeting (in Prescott this year), will be here before we know it.

My name is Leland Sutter, the newest president of our beloved Tierra Seca
club. Joining me, we also have Rachel Turner as Vice President, Morgan
Gourley as Secretary, and Joey Dahms working as our Treasurer. Together, we
are very excited to represent Tierra Seca and continue to move not only our
club forward, but also the Society for Range Management, the School of
Natural Resources and the Environment, the College of Agriculture and Life
Sciences, and the University of Arizona.

I am honored to have been entrusted with this position; I am following a
line of great presidents before! In addition to my work with Tierra Seca, I
am also a brother in Alpha Gamma Rho, the university's agricultural
fraternity, where I serve as the social media chair. I have been working
with Biosphere 2 for a year and a half now, mostly focusing on the Critical
Zone Observatory (CZO) project measuring soil respiration at Mt. Bigelow.
Through my work in the Barron-Gafford lab, I was hired on for this summer
working for the USDA research station where I will be involved with the
hydraulic redistribution project in the Santa Ritas. In the past, I have
served as the philanthropic chair for the Student Veterans of America, and
played rugby for the University of Arizona during the 2012-2013 season.
