Dear All, 

 

Betsy Arnold and I discussed the possibility to highlight all the award
winning students (both graduates and undergraduates) on the SPLS web site.
There are several from our labs, but there are surely more in the school.

 

If any of your students won any awards between January 2013 and Aug. 20,
2013, would you please let us know by Aug. 30th? We would appreciate if you
can provide information on the name of the award, the event or the venue for
the award, and a few-sentence description of their achievement. 

 

We will ask the students to come together for a group photo in the first
week of September and highlight them as a featured story on the SPLS web
site, pending the approval of the IT/Web committee. This material could also
potentially be useful for the newsletter produced by the Outreach Committee.
