The annual Meet Your Major fair will take place next Wednesday, September
29th from 11am-2pm in the Student Union Ballroom.

(FYI- I welcome any student in our dept. to join me at this event to talk
with other students on campus about the major and the  department.) - Tanya

Dear Students,

 

Are you undecided about a major? Are you having second thoughts about your
declared major? Thinking of adding an additional major or minor? Just want
to know what major options UA has to offer? The Meet Your Major Fair will
take place on Wednesday, September 29th from 11am-2pm in the Student Union
Ballroom.  This is a great opportunity for you to learn about majors of
interest to you all in one central place!

 

Preparation is the key to maximizing your experience at the Meet Your Major
Fair.  To help you prepare, here are some suggestions:

 

Week before the fair:

 

.         Visit department websites

.         Develop an interest list of majors based on attendee list (see
attached)

.         Review the list of possible questions to ask the department
representatives (see attached; you will also be given this at the fair)

What to bring to the fair:

 

.         CatCard

.         Pen and paper to write down answers to your questions

.         Other specific questions you have about majors of interest to you

.         An open mind

.         Your friends

 

Don't miss this fantastic opportunity! We look forward to seeing you on the
