Five positions open in water and climate at the University of East Anglia

 

Building on our history of excellence, with University strategic 

investment and additional external funding, we have the opportunity to 

offer five closely related posts as listed below. The positions are all 

within the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences and will work 

closely with researchers in the Centre for Earth Systems Engineering 

Research and the Newcastle Institute for Research on Sustainability.

 

Professor of Urban Water Systems: extending our existing research 

expertise and in response to the urgent global challenges posed by 

urbanisation, water scarcity, sanitation and natural hazards in urban areas.

Lecturer in Remote Sensing: utilising image analysis photogrammetric
computer vision for automated feature and attribute extraction from 

multi-modal data for applications including urban and 3d city modelling, 

infrastructure assessment and flood risk analysis.
