Hello,

I hope you are doing well.

I'm writing with regard to Dr. Greg Gilbert's upcoming visit on March 24.
Dr. Gilbert is one of the SPS graduate student invited seminar speakers for
this year, and is visiting from the Department of Environmental Studies at
the University of California at Santa Cruz. His talk, titled: Phylogenetic
rarity, plant disease, and novel interactions, will be held during the
normal seminar time from 4-5PM in 230 Marley.

Dr. Gilbert's group is broadly interested in the ecology of
plant-associated fungi, with particular interests in phytopathogenic fungi
in natural settings. Please read more about Dr. Gilbert's group here:

http://people.ucsc.edu/~ggilbert/

In addition to the grad lunch, Dr. Gilbert would like to arrange individual
meetings with students. If you are interested in meeting with Dr. Gilbert,
please let me know your availability for Tuesday March 24th as soon as
possible. I highly encourage taking advantage of this excellent opportunity!

Thank you,

Justin
