Dr. Gilbert is one of the SPS graduate student invited seminar speakers for this year, and is visiting from the Department of Environmental Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz. His talk, titled: Phylogenetic rarity, plant disease, and novel interactions, will be held during the normal seminar time from 4-5PM in 230 Marley.</div><div><br></div><div>Dr. Gilbert's group is broadly interested in the ecology of plant-associated fungi, with particular interests in phytopathogenic fungi in natural settings.
