[Plsfaculty] Student Worker -Allowable Work Hours

Hello All,
As we enter this new semester, I just wanted to send out a reminder that starting on 8/14/2023 the undergraduate student workers need to adhere to the student allowable work hours policy<https://policy.arizona.edu/employment-human-resources/allowable-work-hours-student-workers>. The policy sates the following:

            “ A student worker may work up to 25 hours per week during the Fall and Spring Semesters, and up to 35 hours per week during Summer Session, Winter Session, and Spring Break. If a student worker exceeds these work hour limits, that individual may no longer be eligible for student employment. The supervisor is responsible for monitoring a student worker’s work hours, for ensuring that the student worker accurately records those hours on their timesheet, and for approving the timesheet in accordance with payroll deadlines.”
