[Plsfaculty] FW: Extremely Important Information: Payroll Timesheet Processing & Pay Days in December 2010

Hello All,

This is extremely important information regarding payroll timesheet
processing and pay dates for the month of December due to the annual UA
Winter Closure, three pay periods in December and the truncated payroll
processing time.   Therefore, the below dates need to be adhered to plus
please contact me or your Time Coordinator in the PLS Administrative Office
to determine if you or your employees are eligible to take University
Closure Time or vacation time off or will they be able to work during the
closure. 

Failure to complete and approve the timesheets on or by the below deadlines
could result in some of your time not being approved therefore you may not
be paid for all of your time for these pay period on the appropriate pay
day.  Your pay could be delayed until the next pay period which could be in
January.  This is very important for people who code their timesheets with
PAW "Presence at Work" as there is holiday time and University Closure in
the Pay Period of 12.13.10 to 12.26.10 - if those timesheets are not
completed corrected and submitted on the above stated deadlines - there
could be a possibility of a delay in receiving all of your appropriate pay
on the appropriate pay day.

Please send this information to all of your laboratory members including
undergraduate and graduate student workers!

Pay Period from November 29, 2010 to December 12, 2010:

Timesheets are to be completed for the entire pay period by Noon on December
9th, 2010.

Timesheet Spreadsheets sent to the Time Approvers by the Admin Staff by 5:00
p.m. December 9th, 2010

Time Approvers response and approval sent back to the Admin Staff by Noon on
December 10th, 2010

Pay Day December 17, 2010
