[Plsfaculty] More important information regarding the new payroll system - People

Hello All,

 

I just returned for the security access training session for the new Payroll
System.  More information has been issued.   If you are to be a time
approver (which was yesterday's email), you must complete the attached form
and return it to be my Friday 07.17.09 morning - we were informed about this
information this morning.    If you have designated someone in your lab to
be a time approver, please forward this form to them with this email.

 

I know some of you have not responded to yesterday e-mail as you are out of
the town.    But, I need this information by tomorrow.

 

Also, training for all employees to enter their hours on the timesheet has
been setup.  But, at this time the dates are in September - actually the
first day of the pay week the conversion will take place.   Therefore, I
would like you to pass the training schedule on to your employees.    

 

If your employee is an Undergraduate student worker, a non-exempt classified
staff or a part-time Classified Staff or Appointed Personnel - they must go
to this website to register for training:

If you employee is a Graduate Student, exempt Classified Staff, full-time
Appointed Personnel or a part-time/full-time faculty member - they must go

If you do not know the status of your employees and which workshop they
would attend - please contact anyone in the PLS Business Office for that
information.

 

I will be sending out a general e-mail to the entire School regarding the
new payroll system, but just in case some of your staff is not the listserv
- please forward that upcoming email to your lab.

 

As always, I will be sending out the information as I receive it.
