[Plantsci] how to update your display info in the UA Phonebook

Employees and DCCs use UAccess Employee to update how their preferred names, pronouns, and phone numbers are displayed in the UA Phonebook. Individuals wishing to access the UA Phonebook must log in with their UA NetID and password.
1. Navigate to uaccess.arizona.edu<https://uaccess.arizona.edu/>
2. Click Employee/Manager Self Service and log in with your NetID and password
3. Make sure you are on the UA Employee Main Homepage (identified at the top left)
4. Click Personal Information to update your:
o
* Preferred name
* Pronouns
Change Your Preferred Name
1. Make sure Preferred Name Change is selected on the left side panel
2. Click Edit Preferred Name
3. Make your desired changes and click OK
* The space under New Preferred Name shows your edits, however, your middle name is not included
* Repeat steps 2 and 3 as much as you need until you are happy with how your preferred name appears
4. Click Submit to save your changes
* It will take 24 hours for your changes to appear in the Phonebook
Change your Phone Number(s)
You must contact the Department HR Representative within your department to update information such as your Office Address, Room #, Department, and Title.
However, you can change your work number(s) in UAccess Employee to update the number displayed in the UA Phonebook. It may take a day to sync.
1. Make sure the Phone Numbers tab is selected on the left side panel
2. Click into any editable field to make your desired changes
3. You can also:
* Choose your Preferred number
* Identify which number you want to be displayed in the phone book by checking the Preferred check box. Allow at least 24 hours for the update to appear in the phone book. This update is also displayed in office 365.
* At least one phone entry must be designated as the preferred phone and Zoom phone six-digit extensions will not appear in the phone book, even if they are designated as your preferred number.
* Add a different Phone Type
* Click the Add Phone Number button and fill in the available fields
(Possible types of numbers are Mobile, Work, Campus, Home, and SMS)
* Delete the Phone Type row
* Click the trash icon next to the row you wish to delete
* Click Yes - Delete to confirm the deletion
4. Click Save
5. Click OK
You will receive an email indicating an update has been successfully saved to the database.
