Good afternoon School of Plant Sciences-
Please see the important message below from UArizona Payroll. Due to the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday the following payroll deadlines will be enforced:
ALL EMPLOYEES: Please be sure to submit your timesheet by 10:00 AM on Friday, May 28. If you expect to need to submit additional hours for any effort over the weekend, please arrange with your supervisor an estimate of hours and submit that time by the deadline.
TIME APPROVERS/SUPERVISORS: I will be running payroll at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 28. I will send immediate emails for additional approvals that are needed, but will be completing final approvals at 4:45 PM on Friday May 28.
Additional reminders:
* Please check in with Erin or me if you are unsure if you have met your University Furlough requirements. You can look up your requirements here<https://compass.arizona.edu/report/administration/alvsce-furlough-lookup> (must log with NetID).
* Graduate Students on Supplemental Compensation: please be sure to submit hours via the timesheet in UAccess Employee (please review the email that Erin sent out with step-by-step instructions)

Subject: Payroll Processing Schedule for Pay Period Ending May 30, 2021
Here are some important reminders regarding the Payroll deadlines for the upcoming Memorial Day Holiday.
Payroll Processing Schedule for Pay Period Ending May 30, 2021:
All Payment Requests must be approved and submitted by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 28, 2021, to guarantee that employees will be paid on pay date June 4, 2021.
Time Sheets must be submitted and approved no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, May 28, 2021, to guarantee that employees will be paid on pay date June 4, 2021.
Holiday time will be populated for May 31st, no later than May 25th, for all active & eligible employees. This time must be reviewed.
To ensure that all employees (this includes all Exception employees) are paid correctly, it is the responsibility of the Time Reporter to ensure the holiday time has the correct hours per day. Employees who are not taking holiday time should delete these hours from the timesheet. An Exception employee who should not be paid for this time must add unpaid leave. These hours must be reviewed by the Time Approvers, or the employee may be at risk of getting overpaid or underpaid.
