[Plantsci] IMPORTANT: Changes to Time Reporting effective June 24

Hello All:

I am sure you all have received these emails. I HIGHLY recommend you go through the training manuals they provide (link highlighted below). The basic functionality is there, however it looks really different. In some cases there is a different route to approve time or enter time. Few key differences:


  1.  Timesheet is by week, not by pay period
  2.  System will confirm you submitted or approved time, extra acceptance button in some cases as a result
  3.  Some items have their own tile now, so extra tiles
  4.  UAccess Employee will be mobile friendly, therefore the look is different

If you go through the tutorials and still have questions, UITS has provided a variety of Brown Bag Info Sessions (also listed below), take advantage, they are in person or available by Zoom. I do want to warn, anytime there is an update to the UAccess system a glitch can happen, please be patient with the system for the first week while any “hic-ups” are worked out.

UAccess Employee will be unavailable June 22-23 for a system upgrade.

After the upgrade, effective Monday, June 24, you will see new and enhanced features which will change the way you report time. They include:

•         A new Time dashboard of interactive tiles that will simplify and streamline views by providing a snapshot of employee time for the current pay period.



•         Enter Time is for standard time reporting.



•         Report Daily Time and Weekly Time are mobile-friendly options for you to report your time via tablet or smartphone.



•         You can also view reported time by week in the Weekly Time Summary or by other calendar periods in the Time Summary.

•         Time is shown in weekly or daily increments, with arrow bars to navigate to different dates.
