[IYRPsupportgroup] Nominations for FAO IYRP Steering Committee

Dear IYRP Support Group

As you would know, the FAO is currently taking nominations for individuals
(supported by their institutions) to serve on the FAO IYRP Steering
Committee. As the IYRP Global Alliance (GA), we recently sent out a call to
the IYRP Support Group for (self)nominations to be part of the IYRP GA
nominations list to the FAO.

Following our initial call for (self-)nominations to represent non-state
actors on the FAO IYRP Steering Committee, we have received valuable
submissions. However, at this stage, we still do not have enough
nominations to ensure full representation across all categories.

To allow more time for interested candidates and institutions to come
forward, we are extending the (self-)nomination deadline until *24 March
2025*. We strongly encourage individuals and organizations committed to
advancing the goals of IYRP 2026 to apply.

We appreciate your engagement in this process and look forward to receiving
additional nominations to ensure diverse and strong representation.
