Dear IYRP Global Alliance Secretariat,
Apologize for the delay to send our proposal.

On behalf of the Latin American Alliance of Pastoralism (Pastoraméricas),
we want to propose representatives for the IYRP Global Alliance’s call for
nominations for the non-state member seats on the FAO IYRP 2026 Steering
Committee.
For the seat of Civil Society, we propose Bibiana Vilá from Argentina. For
Academy and research institutions we propose Cecilia Turín from Perú.

About the nomination of a representative from Pastoralists, we do support
the letter sent by our global alliance, WAMIP, with representatives from
different regions.
