Dear Fiona,
what you are suggesting, seems like an excellent idea for me.
What kind of mapping are you thinking of?

Something like we did for the LPP publication in Spain?
In this publication (hereafter) you can find a map we did for Spain, on the
main kinds (very generalised) of rangeland in Spain (of course inside each
category,, there are lots of differences!!!)

I add the map in detail in different modalities, might be, this is what you
are thinking of for all countries?
Is this the level of detail you are suggesting to do worldwide?
