[Faculty] 2026-27 Sabbatical Application Process Now Open!

Good afternoon, CALES tenured- and continuing status-faculty!

Please find attached, an announcement for the sabbatical process for fall 2026 and spring 2027. This announcement will also be placed in the Weekly Newsletter and in Tuesday Morning Notes. This document provides information and links on eligibility and processes related to a one-semester or two-semester sabbatical. Fully approved applications are due to me by November 21, 2025.

For career-track faculty - work had begun on a CALES "professional development leave" for POPs before financial constraints forced us to set that aside. I assure you that, when the time is right, we will continue our work on this.
