Dear Colleagues:

As grant writer, you will inevitably find yourself looking at a call for proposals, solicitation, or request for applications. These critical documents describe the program that you are applying for, provide detailed information about what must/can be included in the proposal, formatting rules, and even how they will review the proposal among other essential information. Reading and understanding this type of document as well as other sponsor-specific guideline materials can be intimidating.

Join us on Monday, October 28th, 2024, to learn from an expert in UA's Sponsored Projects Services (SPS). Kirsten Sherman-Haynes, Grants and Contracts Analyst, will introduce attendees to SPS, the critical work they do to ensure accurate and timely grant submissions on behalf of our University, and share tips and tricks for effective reading and use of solicitation and call for proposals documents.
