Dear ALVSCE Colleagues,

If you have a research program and did not attend the Fall 2023 Research Support Services Orientation offered by the UA Office of Research, Innovation & Impact (RII), then I encourage you to register for the February orientation if you can.

This is an orientation provided by RII staff that is conducted by Zoom and lasts 2.5 hours.  The information provided is very useful to those at all stages of career who are engaged in research, but it is particularly important for folks who are relatively new to the UA and may be less familiar with various aspects of central administrative support of the research enterprise.  I’ve been at UA for 22 years, but I still learned a lot from the February orientation 😊.

Announcing the February 2024 Research Support Services Orientation

Dear University of Arizona Research Community,

I am writing to request that you encourage your new faculty and research support staff to attend the upcoming virtual Research Support Services Orientation<https://click.comms.arizona.edu/?qs=8d148f4ff3156ce56da733eeab158e1cab13e30a521cd13c12ca58516cb59bfdc2936edc08950651224f22a690187c65c0e91b30fbee8784> (NetID login required). Organized and hosted by Research, Innovation & Impact, this program will introduce you to the centralized resources and infrastructure available to support and grow your research programs. While the orientation is specifically designed for research personnel who are new to the University, all members of the research community are welcome to participate, including faculty, postdocs, and administrative support staff.
