[Faculty] Upcoming RII and ALVSCE Research Trainings

Dear Colleagues:

As we continue progressing into this new semester, I wanted to reach out with a warm welcome on behalf of ALVSCE Research Administration.

I also wanted to briefly share some information about two key events related to sponsored research and a wonderful resource within our Division.  While most of these resources could be thought of as aimed towards new faculty and staff exclusively, I am sure that they will also be appreciated by continuing colleagues looking for a refresher.

2023 ALVSCE Research Workshop: save the date for our ALVSCE Research Workshop to be held on Friday October 6th, 2023, from 9am to noon (followed by a networking lunch). Among a variety of topics, the main objective of this workshop is to introduce you to ALVSCE-specific content regarding grant proposal & contracts basics, such as finding opportunities and working with our award-winning team of Grant and Contract Managers<https://research.cales.arizona.edu/pre-award-process> to get your proposals submitted. In-person and virtual access will be provided. Registration link and details coming soon.
