[Faculty] CALS-SBS seminar on Food Ethics, Human Rights and Food Systems

Please see the attached flyer for a seminar to be presented by Dr. Anne Barnhill, Associate Research Professor at Johns Hopkins University, on Monday, March 27, 3:30 - 5:00pm.   Prof. Barnhill's topic will be "Human Rights and Food Systems." The seminar will be held in McClelland Park 210.

The seminar is jointly sponsored by CALS and the Department of Philosophy in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.  This will be the first event in what we hope is an ongoing collaboration in the area of Food and Bio-ethics.  This first installment will address the organization of global food systems as they confront the challenges of food insecurity, undernutrition and unsustainable environmental impacts of food production.
