Below is the link to the Climate of Instruction survey from the Cardon Academy for Teaching Excellence (CATE). A couple of weeks ago I alerted you that this would be coming. The message below from CATE fellows Kelly Jackson and Darin Knapp provides some background.

It will be enormously helpful to us if you could complete the survey this week.  The feedback will shape the upcoming focus groups and subsequent programs offered by CATE and CALS to encourage instructional excellence in CALS.

Dear CALS colleagues,



The Cardon Academy of Teaching Excellence (CATE) is engaging in an initiative to examine the culture of instruction in CALS, and we want to hear from you as faculty and staff. This is an especially critical time to reflect on teaching and learning within the College after experiencing so many pivots and changes during the pandemic.



We are asking for about 20 minutes of your time to complete a survey on the culture of instruction in CALS. In the survey you will also be able to sign up to participate in a focus group interview to provide additional feedback. In-person and virtual options are available. We will be hosting these focus groups in early April. Data from both the survey and the focus group interviews will be synthesized and disseminated to participants and will help us direct our future efforts in improving the support of teaching in CALS.
