condensed one-day Summits will also be held
in Prescott (September 4) and in Tucson (September 20), and registration is just $10.

Summer Ag Institute
Thirty teachers from nine different counties in Arizona traveled across southern Arizona, learning about our state's diverse agricultural community all while earning 48 professional development hours.  The hands-on, five-day tour provided lessons and memorable experiences from 14 different industries such as Civano Nursery, Green Valley Pecan Co., Cochise Groves & Golden Rule Vineyards, Curry Seed & Chile Company, Bonita Bean, Todd Ranch, NatureSweet, Briggs & Eggers Ochard, Willcox Livestock Auction, Bayer Crop Science, Caballero Dairy, Wuertz Gourd Farm, and Stotz Equipment.  Teachers learned about cutting-edge research from The University of Arizona Controlled Environment Agriculture Center, UA Agricultural Research Center, UA Food Productions and Safety Lab, USDA Arid Lands Research Center, and the Maricopa Agricultural Center.
