[CED/CD/EAT] Master Gardener Book Contest

Please distribute this email to the appropriate faculty and staff.

 

 

The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program is
developing a new Master Gardener Manual.  The new manual will be available
electronically and in a printed bound copy.  AZ Cooperative Extension has
decided to have a contest for the design of the cover and back of the manual
(2 - 8.5" x 11" sheets).  The contest is open to all Master Gardeners across
Arizona.  The deadline for submission is November 4, 2016.

 

We ask that submissions be either electronically submitted to Ed Martin at
ecmartin at email.arizona.edu <mailto:ecmartin at email.arizona.edu>  or mailed to
him at the address below.  The plan is for a full color cover and back.  The
winning design will be chosen by the editors.

 

The winner will get a free copy of the latest edition of the Sunset Western
Garden Book and all the fame and fortune that goes with having your design
on the cover of the new Arizona Master Gardener Manual.  Credit, of course,
will be given in the book for the illustrations.

 

Attached is a draft of a page that gives the color we will be using
throughout the book.
