Agricultural Center (37860 W. Smith-Enke Rd) for Dr. Rick Wards interview
presentation for the MAC Director position.

"Thoughts on the roles of the UA's agricultural centers in solving the
local, regional, and global grand challenges of the 21st century²

Dr. Rick Ward is a Principal Scientist in the CIMMYT Global Wheat Program,
and a Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at
the University of Minnesota.   Rick worked 16 years as a wheat breeder and
geneticist on the faculty at Michigan State University.   Before and after
his work in Michigan, he worked for CIMMYT as a maize and then wheat breeder
in Mexico, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.   Rick¹s current work for
CIMMYT focuses on resource mobilization, global strategy, and project
development, including support for the creation of a global network of
Precision Wheat Phenotyping Platforms.  More background on Rick¹s career can
