Rick worked 16 years as a wheat breeder and geneticist on the faculty at Michigan State University. Before and after his work in Michigan, he worked for CIMMYT as a maize and then wheat breeder in Mexico, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Rick’s current work for CIMMYT focuses on resource mobilization, global strategy, and project development, including support for the creation of a global network of Precision Wheat Phenotyping Platforms.
