Our Yuma Center of Excellence in Desert Agriculture is hosting a symposium, funded by the NIFA Specialty Crop Research Initiative, on November 16.  I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to hear directly from leaders in Arizona's bioeconomy about the challenges they are facing on the ground.  This may be particularly useful to those of you who haven't had a chance to engage yet with the Yuma community.

The Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture would like to invite you to the Desert Agriculture Research Symposium on November 16, 2022, at the Pivot Point Conference Center in Yuma AZ. This symposium, funded by the NIFA Specialty Crop Research Initiative program, is an opportunity to learn about the research needs of the desert agriculture industry, current research, and to develop partnerships with this community. Scientists will learn how to best engage with industry from experienced researchers and have opportunities to engage with potential industry partners. Funding for travel may be available, more details to follow. Registration is now open.
