We would like to thank those of you that were able to join us for the New Features of Zoom webinar on March 24, 2022. We hope it was engaging, helpful, and informative. For those that were not able to attend, a link to the recording is below.

Attached to this email you will find two PDF documents. One document is the slide presentation which includes clickable links to support pages about the new features that were discussed. The other document is a condensed copy of the webinar chat that includes some of the questions and answers that were placed in the chat as well as relative links that were discussed in the session.

Additionally, it’s often asked how I had my cursor highlighted throughout my presentation. I use a program called AutoHotKey and have a cursor highlighter script downloaded that runs with that program. For more information about how that was setup you can visit https://sites.google.com/site/boisvertlab/computer-stuff/online-teaching and halfway down that page read the section titled “Cursor Highlighter (Version 2.2). They also link to a couple YouTube videos that show how to set it up as well. Unfortunately, this application is for PC only.

For Mac users who are running MacOS Monterey you can easily change the size and colors of your mouse cursor to something that is easier to catch with your eyes. Instructions for that can be found at https://www.macworld.com/article/353647/how-to-macos-monterey-change-cursor-color.html#:~:text=Go%20to%20System%20Preferences%20and,color%20and%20Pointer%20fill%20color.

Additionally, you can do your own Google search for cursor highlighter for Mac or PC and you’ll find lots of other options out there as well, some free some at a cost.
