Hello all: The CALS Honors Convocation ceremony on Friday, 10/8 will be a student only event. Additionally, only students who RSVPd can attend. The message below has been shared with all students who RSVPd for the ceremony.

Need to know if a particular student RSVPd?  In eSMS, a student’s RSVP is viewable under “Appointments” or in the RSVP event view.

Hi Gabrielle!
We're looking forward to recognizing your academic achievement at the CALS Honors Convocation ceremony. And, based on the overwhelming number of registrations, it's clear that CALS students are eager to do so as well!
Our goal is to celebrate your achievements safely by following the University's COVID prevention principles<https://t.e2ma.net/click/zzak7d/3am76l/r1itmv>. Here's what you can expect:

  *   Student only ceremony, guests are not allowed.
  *   The ceremony will be held outside, in the Forbes Courtyard.
  *   The ceremony will be recorded; a link will be sent to all student attendees to share with family and supporters.
  *   Masks are strongly recommended - masks will be available for your convenience.

CALS Honors Convocation
Friday, October 8, 2021
Forbes Building
3 - 4:30 pm (classes are not held between 3-5 p.m. this day to allow for participation)

  *   3 - 3:30 pm: Check in on the front patio
  *   3:30 - 4:30 pm: Ceremony in the Courtyard
The ceremony features a brief speaking program and individual recognition:

  *   Students will have their name read,
  *   Walk across the Forbes Courtyard stage, and
  *   Receive a cord for either Highest Academic Distinction (red/white/blue cord) or Academic Distinction (red cord).
Following the ceremony, student attendees can enjoy hors d’oeuvres in the Forbes Lobby and take photos in the Forbes Courtyard. Dressy casual attire is recommended for all participating students.
