[Agvisors] 7wk 2nd session GRO list in Box

Good Morning Everyone,

This email is regarding GRO report.  I wanted to share with the team the GRO report I queried today for 7 week 2nd session enrolled students, I have added it to our CALS Advising, Retention and Student Services in Box under the "student lists" folder.  The link to it is below and requires our net-id and password to access it.  The report automatically pulls all students/majors on campus enrolled in a GRO eligible course (81 students) and we can sort by the last column on the right of the spreadsheet for the relevant major "primary plan".  I was surprised to find 2 ABEM majors on the list, but happy to have been proactive in an email reminder of GRO submission to both students.  I pasted part of the email I sent to my students regarding GRO, in case you wanted to edit or use any part of it, should you have any students on the GRO report.
GRO deadline for this session is Oct. 31.  Thank You!

Template to student:

I am also emailing because you are enrolled in a 7 week 2nd session course ENGL 102 and I do not see in UAccess that you have submitted the GRO request for the course.  The deadline to submit GRO for that session of courses is Oct. 31, you should consider doing this ahead of that deadline to ensure it is submitted.  As we have discussed, with GRO you will replace your previously earned E grade from UA with the new grade this semester, and the new grade will be calculated in your GPA.  Both grades remain on the transcript.  If you would like assistance with the submission, I am happy to help, please come in either during drop-ins or with an appointment.  Thank You!
