[Agvisors] Fall Career Center Events Plan

Hello Everyone,

Lee Dueringer, Valeria Martinez, and I have been working on putting together an exciting slate of events for students to develop the skills necessary to make the most out of their academic pursuits.  This Fall we are excited to focus on the message "it's not about who you know, it's who knows you." It will be featured prominently in our soon to be revived bi-weekly Career Center Newsletter students will receive every other Wednesday via email.

As you begin to think toward the fall semester please keep in the back of your mind students whom you might like to nominate for membership in the Dean's Leadership 50.  We will open the application for students to apply the first day of classes.  As time draws closer you'll receive additional information about our recruitment schedule.


Below is a breakdown of our planned events and opportunities for students.  Please note that on Sept. 18th we will have an exceptional opportunity for students graduating in December or May to meet one on one with Dustin DeVries, a Career Center Advisory Board Members and leader in the recruitment division for Zoetis, but he is happy to meet with students from any major who would like help on preparing for interviews, approaching the job search, and having their resume reviewed.

We plan on adding more employer events in the coming weeks, but everything above is confirmed.
