Dear Undergraduate Academic Advisors:
Many students are contacting Graduation Services, asking if their degree can be awarded ahead of the August conferral date.
We get this question a lot in the summer – not so much during the regular semesters.
Per ABOR policy, we (including ASU and NAU) do not award degrees prior to any of the conferral dates.
We will begin awarding degrees on Monday, August 19th for Summer 2019.
If a student has complete their requirements, please let your Graduation Services Advisor know.
We can place the student in “Approved” status so that they are in the queue for awarding as quickly as possible.
