Good morning, Agvisors!

I hope your first week of the Fall semester is going well. On behalf of the Professional Development Committee I would like to bring some upcoming opportunities to your attention that the team has been working on organizing, most importantly the one next week with a special guest presenter. Please mark your calendars for the following:


  *   Advising Philosophy Workshop with Allison Ewing-Cooper

  *   Advising Portfolio Workshop
Wednesday, October 2nd
9-10 am & 3-4 pm
Forbes, Room 229


  *   Resumes & CV's Workshop with CALS Career Center
Wednesday, October 2nd
9-10 am & 3-4 pm
Forbes, Room 229

These workshops are all designed to help each advisor create and enhance an Advising Portfolio, hopefully to be used within the future promotion structure.

Updates:

  *   As a heads up we will, also, be taking an Agvisor photo at our next meeting. Details and an agenda will be sent closer to our meeting date: September 10th at 9:30 am.
  *   Please log on to our Agvisor D2L page (non-term) for updates on Campus-Wide Professional Development such as the upcoming Veteran Alliance Training (if you don't see it and would like access please let me know).
