[Agvisors] Career Center and DL50 Information

Hi Everyone,

Happy Second Day of Classes!

Hopefully everything is going well for you and the chaos is at a controlled level for you.

A couple of updates for you:

*         Tomorrow we will be hosting the Career Center/Dean's Leadership 50 Welcome Event.  It is in Forbes 202 from 10-3, we will have trivia, food, and members of the DL50 will be around to answer any questions students have.  Advisors are also welcome to stop by to make your own popcorn mix.

*         Departmental Nominations for the DL50 are still open if you meet a student you think would benefit from being a part please fill out the nomination form here https://forms.gle/843PgwTAbkAQwe2Y9 the sooner you nominate students the more time they have to complete the application.
A new idea we need your help with:

*         We are trying to reach more students and let them know the Career Center is here for everyone in CALS.  So we will be rolling out CALS Career Center Comes to You as a way to meet students where they are, well where you are actually.  If you are interested in having Valeria and/or I come and hold walk-in hours in your department please complete this form and we will do our best to meet your preferences.  https://forms.gle/vUETHk6HGJRPu8vs8 Yes of course we will bring our famous snack bowls with us. :)
