Handshake is the new online platform where UA students can:

·        Apply for on campus jobs and internships personalized to their interests.

·        Sign up for career events.

·        Control how much of their profile is visible to employers who might be looking for them

·        Connect with other UA students who have had internships and other experiences they are interested in (coming soon!)


Student Engagement & Career Development is exploring the appropriate roles in the system for various UA personnel and would love to learn more about how academic advisors could use this tool to support students and help keep career development top-of-mind throughout a student’s UA career.

When: Wednesday, September 6th
Time: 3 pm – 4 pm
