[Agvisors] Fall 2016 New Student Orientation information

Greetings Agvisors:

Friendly reminders regarding new student orientations. The first one is this coming Wednesday, May 25! Attached are both student lists for the two sessions next week.

All orientation dates are listed below.  The college meeting will take place from 9:45-11:00am at McClelland Park Room 105 with academic advising (class schedule review) at 2:30pm.  After advising refer students to Forbes 202 to make schedule modifications.  We would appreciate if all advisors assist Kristen and I during the schedule change time after advising – thanks! ☺ The UA Library loaned us 30 netbooks for students to use, so CALS will have its own ‘computer lab’ set up.

Attached is a Student and Family Schedule for your reference.  This coming Monday May 23rd the orientation unit will hold two general information sessions in case you are interested in attending.  The sessions are from 10-11am and 2-3pm at the SUMC Santa Rita room (email below with details).

Hello,

New Student Services would like to invite the University advising community to attend a session that will review the 2016 New Student Orientation summer program for incoming freshmen and their guests. Information will be provided about this summer’s Orientation schedule, placement testing, population-based programs (Wildcat Academy and Schedule for Success), and general program logistics.

The review session will be offered twice on Monday, May 23. Both sessions will take place in the Santa Rita Room of the SUMC; the first from 10-11am and the second from 2-3pm. Anyone interested in learning more about the New Student Orientation program is invited to attend one of these sessions.
