Subject: [UPAC] New Online Complete Withdrawal Process
Dear Campus Community,
A new online form and process has been created for submitting complete
withdrawals. Starting today students can log into the complete withdrawal
website and submit a request for a complete withdrawal. This process will
be available each fall and spring semester during week 5 through the last
day of classes. Upon login the student's demographic and course information
will appear. They are required to read important information about the
process before submitting.
Once the complete withdrawal is submitted it will be processed by the
Registration and Transcripts Office. The following offices have access to
view the submissions.
. International Student Services - If a student is international
they will automatically be routed to ISS. The complete withdrawal will not
be processed until ISS has advised the student and approved the complete
withdrawal.
. Campus Health - A student may submit documentation for a medical
withdrawal if they would like to receive a full or partial refund. If
Campus Health approves, they will make an indication in the system and the
Registration Office will adjust the student's record to reflect a medical
withdrawal.
. Office of Student Financial Aid
. Bursar's Office
Dean of Students Office will not be involved in the intake process in the
future, however they and Registration and Transcripts offices have access to
submit a form on behalf of a student in the event that they are unable.
The new process allows the student to answer several detailed questions
about why they are leaving UA and whether they plan to return. This
information will be available in report form to colleges and other
departments in the near future. We will share the details when they are
available.
The Registration and Transcripts Office will continue to accept paper forms
this semester as we transition into the new process. Irene Delgado and
Patti Flanagan can assist you if you have questions about the process.
