Subject: FW: New course offerings

The Office of Instruction and Assessment (OIA) coordinates the Online
Education Project (an internal grant program funded with student
technologies fees) to help faculty convert face-to-face courses to fully
online and hybrid courses. Our specific focus in grant awards has been to
add additional fully online sections of existing courses for summer sessions
and to create additional sections of bottleneck courses (courses for which
demand exceeds available seats).

Some of the faculty who are developing these courses are experiencing
challenges in attracting students because students either do not know they
exist or because of the constraints of the current registration system.
They have asked for my help, as coordinator of the OEP, in getting the word
out about these courses.

Below is a list of courses being offered during Summer 2012 and Fall 2012
sessions and for which the faculty are experiencing difficulty promoting to
students. I would appreciate you keeping this list handy and recommending
any appropriate courses to students with whom you advise. Thanks for all
your help!
