As a follow-up to my presentations during the month of April regarding a new
"look and feel" to UAccess Student and Employee, please see the official
announcement regarding the upcoming changes. Please note that the
presentation I used is available on the Mosaic website and is linked in the
email below in case you would like to review the changes or if you missed

PeopleTools Upgrade: July 18th
The software tools used to create and maintain the UAccess Employee and
Student applications will be upgraded in July 2011. The impact of a tools
upgrade mostly occurs behind-the-scenes. What this means for you is that
this upgrade will bring a new look and feel and new navigation. There are
no business process changes in this upgrade.

Go Live Date is July 18, 2011
Systems Affected:
UAccess Employee and UAccess Student
System Availability:
UAccess Employee and UAccess Student systems will not be available to users
after 5:00 pm, Friday, July 15 through 6:00 am, Monday, July 18, 2011
Impact to Users:
New Features and Navigation available on July 18, 2011.
Here are the browsers by operating systems that will provide the optimal
experience in UAccess Employee and UAccess Student.
. Windows XP - Firefox 3.5
. Windows Vista/Win7 - IE 8 and Firefox 3.5
. Mac - Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5
The training team is in the process of updating all tutorials currently on
the workshops and training website to reflect the new look of the systems.
The HR and SA business analysts have been presenting the PeopleTools Upgrade
changes to various departments as part of an awareness campaign.
A short demonstration of the new features resulting from the PeopleTools
upgrade will be presented at the Business Community Open Forum, in addition
to a Financial Systems Update, on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, 3:30 - 5:00 pm
at the Student Union, Gallagher Theater. The Business Community Open Forum
is open to anyone at the UA who has an interest in the University's business
policies and processes.
