Also attached, is a flyer from Professor Jim Riley about a new course, SWES
310:  Residential Rainwater Harvesting.  “The course focus is on harvesting
rainwater at the residential level, especially how to evaluate the site and
design appropriate water harvesting systems. There is considerable interest
among UA students and residents in the Arid West in utilizing the rainwater
which falls on their residences, especially in view of the projected
decrease in rainfall due to global climate change. The course provides
detailed information and experience opportunities for students to learn how
to harvest water at individual home sites.”  

 

The course is also listed on the ARC website under Course Announcements.
