[UAS] DJI ban

Hello UAS Community,
I very much enjoyed the mini-conference yesterday! It was great to hear from all those who presented on a diversity of applications and domains. Special thanks to David LeBauer and Chris Schnaufer for putting it together.

The news from Kamel Didan about UA possibly limiting our use of DJI equipment is a bit distressing. Perhaps we as a group should educate ourselves on this topic and involve ourselves in any University policy making (if we are able). I am not specifically advocating for one policy stance or another, but I think we should be proactive and engage decision makers around this issue.

Kamel or anyone else: What information do you have regarding a potential ban on using Chinese made drones at UA?
