[SRM] SNRE/RISE Internship Opportunity

Hello all, I wanted to announce a paid internship opportunity this summer! We are working to assess potential impacts of off-highway vehicles on wildlife and livestock in Arizona. Off-roading is a valued past-time in the state that brings in a lot of revenue, but may have negative impacts on ranching activities or wildlife on public land. The goal of this research is to help assess those impacts to help assist stakeholders and federal agencies in making management decisions..


This is a GREAT opportunity to work both with federal agencies and private citizens to drive forward meaningful research!  Since the field portion of the work is located near Sedona, students located in northern Arizona for the summer are especially encouraged to apply (but we can cover travel and short-term lodging for students not in that location)!
