[SRM] FW: 2024-25 Earth Grant Internship Applications Open! -due May 6th

Earth Grant<https://air.arizona.edu/earthgrant> is a year-long paid internship program open to University of Arizona undergraduate students in any major who are passionate about environmental and community resilience. Diverse students of underrepresented identities are encouraged to apply.



Earth Grant interns are paid $19/hour to gain career experience working 5-25 hours/week with a mentor matching their professional interests, drawing from a wide network of non-profit organizations, local businesses, UA projects, and government agencies. Internship opportunities include ecological restoration, community outreach, conservation fieldwork, environmental education, marketing, urban farming/gardening, community-engaged research, and much more.

Interns also earn two units of academic credit per semester by participating in a weekly seminar on Fridays 1-2:50pm with the entire cohort, engaging in personal and professional skill development. As a community, students will explore topics such as storytelling for advocacy work, shared leadership, and cultural/environmental practices.
