My name is Chi, and I am from the and I am with the RISE Internship Program <https://air.arizona.edu/rise>. I wanted to reach out to share an internship opportunity at the Borderlands Restoration Network, please help distribute it to your network!
BRN is a 501c3 based in Patagonia, AZ that is dedicated to ecological restoration in the binational biodiversity hotspot that is the Sky Islands ecoregion of southern Arizona and northern Sonora.
Internship summary:
The Horticulture Technician Intern will support the Native Plant Program staff at the seed lab, in the field, and at the native plant nursery.
Internship description:
This position serves as a project support for the Native Plant Program. The position will be involved in all aspects of the native plant program practices including native seed collection and curation, plant propagation and establishment, assisting with retail sales, restoration plantings and monitoring, native seed farming, and working across program areas within our organization.
Compensation:
The Horticulture Technician intern is compensated by the University of Arizona. The pay rate will be $18/hour.
