Please help me spread the word on an incredible opportunity for range students in your program. The Forest Service will be hosting a recruitment event at the upcoming Society for Range Management meeting in Boise ID. The Coronado National Forest will be utilizing this event to fill five student intern positions. These potions will be 0499 Student Trainees in Rangeland Management. These positions may receive consideration for conversion to permanent full-time positions upon graduation and completion of program requirements. This is a great way for any student to get their foot in the door on a career with the U.S. Forest Service. The duty locations are listed in the outreach notice. Potential applicants can reach out to me anytime with questions pertaining to the positions. The jobs will be open on USAjobs February 15-27, 2023.

Even though these positions are being recruited in concert with the National SRM Meeting, attendance to the meeting is not necessary. All applicants can get more information on this recruitment event at the link below, which also includes information on virtual recruitment meetings and other positions being flown nation-wide. The Coronado NF will have a small contingent of Rangeland Management Specialists attending the meeting and we are available to meet with any potential applicants during that time. Interested applicants at the meeting can reach out to me directly, or swing by the Forest Service Recruitment booth.
