Subject: TNC in Burns OR now hiring lead (2-year) and seasonal (7-month) restoration technicians

Hello all!

I am hiring a new crew of restoration technicians for The Nature Conservancy in Burns OR to help us set up and monitor native plant restoration experiments and conduct other related dryland ecology and management tasks all across the sagebrush steppe. One position is a 2 to 3-year term position (hooray!) serving as a crew lead and science support starting in late March, and the other two positions are seasonal (7-month) positions helping us tackle field and lab work starting in mid-April. All three positions have competitive pay, full benefits, will be based in Burns OR. Application deadline via TNC's application system is Friday, February 10th.

Full position description links and instructions to apply here:

I would be very grateful if you could forward the link (and this message) to anyone or any place that might get this in front of qualified and interested folks! I know many of you have a rolodex of great current or former students or early career people.

The term position would be great for a recent M.S. graduate looking for applied research experience, or for an exceptional recent undergrad looking to get deeply involved in dryland restoration research prior to grad school (but see link for actual minimum qualifications, which are very reasonable).
The seasonal positions would be great for recent undergrads who have some experience and lots of interest in restoration or dryland research.

Thank you for your help in getting the word out, and I'd be happy to discuss the positions more with anyone who is interested in applying!
